Dr. André Ihlenfeld is a board-certified specialist in anesthesiology and a pain physician.

He studied human medicine at the Charité Berlin and completed his specialist training at several Berlin hospitals, including St. Hedwig Krankenhaus, St. Josefs Krankenhaus and DRK Kliniken Berlin, where from 2008 to 2018 he held various positions as resident, specialist and senior physician. He later served as senior physician at Asklepios (2018–2019) and as a freelance physician at Hays (2019–2020).

Since October 2020 he has been a Medical Editor at AMBOSS in Berlin and works as a Senior Physician in Anesthesiology & Intensive Care. He is Medical Director of Copeia GmbH, where he leads projects on the collection of patient-reported outcomes under cannabis therapy, including the Physicians Experience Platform (PEP).

As an expert, he takes part in 420Pharma's Circle of Experts and is co-author of publications on cannabis-based medicines.
